Hey everyone, just joined the group a week ago. Can't believe I've been reading Rich Dad books for years before ever hearing about Bigger Pockets via David Greene books (BRRRR and Long-Distance RE Investing). Originally from Pennsylvania, retired from the Navy in 2018, moved to Boise, ID (where I am now), and decided I want to buy my first investment property this year. Only experience is renting out my first home in Springfield, VA when I was in the Navy. Looking to choose my market near Atlanta, GA. Want an excuse to visit my son there. Huntsville, AL is my #1 at the moment, followed by Augusta, GA. I have friends in each spot and think they could help me build a great team. Look forward to seeing you all on the forums - or maybe even working with you!

Quote from @Samuel Coronado:

Huntsville long term will get a better % ROI than Atlanta. I am biased though. I don't Atlanta is too landlord friendly and the demographics shift it harder to do business everyday.

Your right on both points Samuel. Plenty of investors work the Atlanta market but the ROI is better in Huntsville and Atlanta is tenant friendly.
