New to MTRs, here to learn and be mentored

Hello BP Community,

My sister and I are partnering up to delve into the REI world of MTRs. We are based in NYC but are considering (as of now) locations outside of NY but within a 300 mile radius.

Our goal is to identify a property and make an offer before the end of 1Q 2025. A condo or townhouse are appealing to us as a first investment. If things work out, we'd like to have at least 1 additional property before the end of the year and have 8 in 8 years. This is our "8 x 8 project" - there, I've said it out loud to remain accountable!  =) 

We've been listening to a number of BP podcasts, YouTube videos, and have been expanding our library of BP books. The community seems to be very helpful, and we look forward to networking and learning.
