Greetings BP community! I have zero experience in Real Estate Investing but have been doing a lot of reading and listening to podcasts these past couple of months.Thank you Josh Dorkin and Brandon Turner for this fantastic website and excellent podcasts!

I am currently trying to wrap my head around how to get started while working a full time job and being a father of two (aged 2 and 5). The other challenging aspect is my current financial situation. If I had the cash equivalent of my (mostly student related) debt I could buy a house outright!

My goals are to build long term wealth via buy and holds starting out with small multi-family and single family homes, and want to transition to apartments in the long term. I am also interested in incorporating other RE investment types (possibly wholesaling and/or flipping ?) along the way with the intentions of reducing the ridiculous amount of time it would otherwise take to pay off my current debt load. I’m excited to learn and grow in real estate investing and pass the knowledge on to my kids one day.

Looking forward to soaking in the info on BP and networking with you folks.

Cheers!

Frank
