Seeking advice
Hi,
My name is Melissa and I just joined BiggerPockets looking for advice. I am a business professional in NYC who loves real estate and wants to learn more about the industry but I'm not sure 1. where to start and 2. which part of it I want to get into (perhaps investments?).
I currently own one property (where we live now) in Tribeca and want to purchase another vacation property in NJ later this year. I know that I dont want to become a broker but I'm not really sure what other types of jobs involving real estate are out there.
Here is a little background. I love real estate. I love browsing listings, visiting properties, learning about new developments, seeking out new up and coming residential areas and learning about the real estate marketplace. I have a good understanding of NYC pricing and negotiation after dealing with a 4 month negotiation on my current apartment.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Melissa
