Hello! My name is Preston, and I'm a new member from Birmingham, AL. I am currently an Engineer and am BRAND NEW to real estate investing. Seriously, I mean brand spanking new. I have a ton to learn.

I enjoy competitive BBQ cooking and coaching baseball as hobbies.

I am interested in wholesaling, rehabbing and investing in rental properties, mainly single-family homes and smaller multi-family buildings (2-4 units).

My short-term goal is to wholesale a few deals to get my feet wet and hopefully purchase my first rental property or rehab flip by the end of this year. My mid-term goal is to pay for my kids college that will be coming up in the next few years.

If anyone has any advise or recommended books/courses for me, by all means, please share.

I have really enjoyed BP so far. Thanks for providing such a great resource!
