Hello all,
My name is Joe and I am new to bigger pockets and to the real estate/ investing world. I came upon bigger pockets through a search engine and really enjoy what the site has to offer. The podcasts are very informative too. I am from Dallas, TX and looking into flipping homes, and buy/hold properties. My family is in the construction business, (remodeling, new homes, etc) and also have family that are real estate agents and a friend who is an escrow officer. I feel with these connections I can get a good head start in the game. I have always been interested in investing in real estate, just never have pursued it. My goals are to start a business with my father who is a general contractor and get started with rehab/flipping homes and then move on to buy/hold rental property. Any advice would be appreciated as to where the hot spots in DFW are and the do's and don'ts for flipping homes. Thanks in advance.
