Prospective Investor from Miami, FL

Hello everyone, my name is Bryan from Miami, FL and I recently found BP. After reviewing some of the forums and listening to the Podcasts, I realized that BP is a great platform for me to learn about real estate investing from an active community with so much information such as this one. As a newcomer to the real estate world, I am currently reading up on all the Beginner's Guides and suggested books. I don't plan to make my first investment until I feel as though I have learned at least the basics and have accumulated some personal wealth to begin my investing.

In regards to my plans about real estate investing, I I am interested in buy and hold, with the possibility of flips given a good situation. For the time being, I am seeking to learn more and get involved with BP as well as my local REI Club. In addition, I would like to learn more about my prospective market (Miami, FL) which is said to be somewhat volatile. If anyone has an experiences with the Miami that they would like to share with me with, I would greatly appreciate it!
