Hi Everyone.

I am from Orange County, CA more specifically Anaheim. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 2006 with a degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate. After running a family retail business for 10 years I am ready to throw out my formal education and learn how Real Estate Investing really works from hands on experience. I passed the CA Brokers License exam in 2011, but have yet to use it for a single transaction or to even begin. I am ready to change the outcome of my life by investing in multi-family units with the buy and hold strategy. I see multi-family units everywhere and figure someone owns these properties why can't that someone be me. I am looking at starting with a duplex and living in one unit and using the other unit to help pay my mortgage and build equity.
