New Member and New to investing in Real Estate

Ryan Bence
Posted

Hello Everyone,

My name is Ryan and I am new to the investing scene. I am in the Houston area and my primary goal is to become financially free and look to enjoy more quality time with my family as I do want to move away from the day to day desk job. I have been leaning more toward the commercial and multi family real estate as I do plan on deveolping an LLC. Like I said, I am looking forward to hear other people's tips or comments.

Hey Ryan,

Welcome to the investing world. As you probably heard now is a pretty tight market to find cashflow because of the high interest, taxes and insurance ( especially in Houston). I am only saying that to set up your expectation that it might take a bit longer that it would have a few years ago. But the steps are the same, just find a property where you ca make the numbers work and that has good upside and go for it. repeat that as soon as you have the downpayment for the next one and keep going.

Feel free to DM me if you need help with anything.

good luck!
