Novice Investors with Expert Dreams!

Hi all,  I don't know how long or short to make this, but I just wanted to introduce myself and my wife Heather.

My name is Roger.  Heather and I have been in real estate for almost 20 years, but not as investors. We worked in NYC for the majority of our careers.  I was an on-site sales agent for luxury boutique buildings.  Heather was on the marketing side of these projects. Though we spent our lives doing it from the sales & marketing side, we are just beginning to venture into investing.

We moved our two daughters, Taylia & Lyric to Overland Park, Kansas to be closer to family and the market just wasn't as "easy" as it was for us in NYC.  I no longer hold my RE license, though I'm studying for my KS license.  I currently work as a property manager in Spring Hill, KS.

We have 1 rental property and hope to build more capital through flipping and eventually build our buy and hold portfolio.  When it comes to investing we are novice, but we have expert dreams!

We'd appreciate any thoughts, advice, direction or well wishes!

If you got through my novel above...thank you!
