New to Real Estate: Should I Buy a Primary Home or an Investment Property First?

Michel Geijs
Posted

Hi everyone, I’m new here and looking to get started in real estate. Is it better to first purchase a primary home for myself (living in CT), and if so, does it matter whether it’s a house or a condo? Or is it more advantageous to keep renting and buy an investment property to rent out instead? Additionally, which markets are currently favorable for starting out in real estate investment? Thanks for your advice!
