And I mean really new, as in we haven't bought our first house. However, we have made 3 offers this week. Granted all were rejected.

My wife and I are still young in our careers, and we have more kids then money. However, we don't like going to work from 8 to 5, while our kids are being raised by others.. It has always been my goal to allow my wife to be a stay at home Mom, and I see real estate as the best way of going about that. The only thing is I want to stay home with her.

My wife and I have owned several fixer uppers over the year, and have become quite good at household repairs, and while we are first starting off I think that will come in handy. However, as time goes on I hope to pass that job off to a trusted contractor.

I listened to recent pod cast 0-68 Rental units in four years, and thought to my self I would love to have 4 rental units in 4 years. Then found my self wishing I was in the job that allowed me to make that kind of investment. However, there is no question in my mind that we will be there one day.

I really look forward to getting to know fellow investors, and seeing what the future has in store.
