New investor in the Texas housing market

Hello, 

I live in California Sacramento, recently bought a primary house which I plan to do house hacking.

Texas been in my list for a long time and finally made up my mind to have investment property or brrrr, flip. Looking to invest in the main area’s of texas = Denton, Tyler, Kyle, buda. Would like to make connections and get some advice about the market.
