Hello BiggerPockets! New PRO here
Hello BiggerPockets community! I'm Wiley Petersen from Southeast Idaho, I am just getting started in real estate investing as I want to be financially free at some point. I do have a question for the group. I am expecting to sell some land for about $350,000. I am not sure if I should pay off my mortgage of $270,000 at 6.5% or should I do a 1031 exchange and invest in a rental property. I'm interested in hearing what advice you can give me.
