Hello BP. The site is really awesome. I am from the Inland Empire in sunny Southern California. I have relatively zero experience in real estate investing other than a few books I have purchased and internet research. I think I understand the basic concepts of wholesaling, flipping, lease to own and other methods that are supposed to be the no money, no credit way of investing. These methods interest me the most because it seems to be the cheapest way to get over the learning curve and meet some essential business contacts to complete my end goal. That goal would be, of course to have bigger pockets.
I understand that salesmanship is a powerful skill in order to be successful in real estate. I do have experience showing results in sales and that is one reason I am considering investing. My biggest passion is leading and developing people to complete projects or motivating them to increase the bottom line. I love to see people learn and grow as this helps me learn and grow. I love to challenge people to get them to see their own potential and I love to see that potential realized and see them reap the rewards. There are a lot of mentors on this site and another goal is to gain enough experience and skill to one day help people out.
I am just starting out. I have been to a few investor meetings and talked to many people. Any advice to get the ball moving would be very much appreciated. Leaning towards wholesaling.
Thanks
Thomas Thatcher
