Hi All,

I have been reading BiggerPockets for a little while now and I have been hearing the Podcasts during my rides to and from work. I think I am now ready to get into the real estate industry. I would like to start off part-time, as I already have a full-time job.

A little bit about me:

I am 25 years old, born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have a BBA from the University of Houston, and I currently work for an Oil&Gas company in their IT Department as an Sr. IT Security Analyst. I have been doing IT since I was 18, so a good 7+ years in IT, but I have always been interested in real estate.

I would like to start doing real-estate part time, I do not have my license, yet, but from what I have read, I do not need my license to get started into real estate. Although, that is my future goal, to become real estate licensed.

I am a go-getter and I am looking for mentors in the Houston, Texas area that could show me the ropes from A-Z. I am looking for people who are willing to meet face-to-face (in public of course) and allow me to pick their brain on various parts of the Real Estate industry in Houston. I know there are real estate groups in Houston, but I do not know where I can go in order to "sign-up" per se.

If you do live in Houston, and are willing to help me out a little through my infant stages of my real estate journey, please shoot me a private message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I would greatly appreciate any help or feedback.

Thank you all,

Nader Zaveri
