New member in Charlotte, NC

Hi all!

I am about to finish up grad school in accounting. In January I will be working as an auditor of low income housing and HUD projects and will hopefully be moving into the real estate consulting department soon after.

I just moved to Charlotte, NC from Tampa, FL where I worked for a property management firm which is how I got interested in real estate. I have had my real estate license for about 2 years now. I have been wanting to start my real estate portfolio for a while now but I also had to pay for school. Once school is finished I am hoping to build a portfolio of rental properties to help towards retirement. I have been reading this forum for a little while now and has helped tremendously.
