Title Experienced Aspiring Investor from LA :)
Hello all,
Been lurking around BP for a few weeks now and all I can say is wow to the amount of information available. For Free! First and foremost, I wanted to say Thank You to all of you who are contributing to us newbies and most especially to the creators of BP.
A little info about myself:
I’m 29 years of age and reside in the San Fernando Valley, North from Los Angeles City. I've been in the Title Insurance Industry for quite some time now as an Assistant Production Manager/Senior Title Examiner for a well-known Title Company. Always been in the back end of the real estate creating preliminary reports for others and I’ve always wondered and imagined, why can’t I be in the front where all the action is? I was deciding on whether to acquire my real estate license, but from the looks of the direction I am heading. I prefer to be an investor instead of an agent, since there is more of an opportunity to reach the financial freedom I’ve always wanted.
I've decided that I will start as a part time "Wholesaler" (while keeping my full-time job), so that I can build some type of capital to Eventually purchase MFR's/Apartment's for consistent cash-flow. I know this may be a difficult run, but the more and more I read, listen to the wonderfull BP Podcasts and surf and learn around this site. The more confident I become to be as successful as you guys.
I know I still have a great deal to learn so I think the next move for me is to Network with some people. So if anyone knows of any REIA meetings or Wholesalers around my area that I can talk too and possibly pick their brain. Please shoot them my way or PM me.
Hope to connect with you guys soon and thank you for reading my 1st post!
