Hi BP!

I'm glad I found this site and the wealth of information available here. I'm hoping to start my career investing with the resources and know-how on this site.

I currently work as an IT technician. I was involved in the mortgage business a couple years before the recession hit and owned a few properties which I sold for profit before the crash. Unfortunately we lost our house after the crash. We are now renting but I still see real estate as the vehicle to help me, my wife, and 5 children achieve financial success.

I have little/no money, fair credit due to the foreclosure and a bankruptcy, and a lot of motivation to make this work. My first inclination is to start wholesaling to pay off our debt and save some money. But long term I would like to buy and hold, build up cash flow and equity and have a decent retirement for my wife and I. I look forward to learning more and finding my first deal with many more to follow.
