Hello everyone. I'm new to BiggerPockets (heard about it through a local real estate networking group I attend); but not new to real estate investing.

I started buying and renovating property in 1993. I love old homes, and enjoy taking neglected properties with architectural integretiy, renovating and creating rental units that I can be proud of.

I've recently moved into the New York area, and am trying to learn as much as I can about the upper Westchester market (Peekskill, Yorktown Heights, etc) before I start investing in these areas. I would like to make connections with other real estate professionals in the area.
