Looking to meet and learn from some local investors!

Hi everyone! Been a long-time BiggerPockets listener/reader/viewer and been studying real estate investing for years. I've been wanting to finally jump into the game but have been hesitant as I'm relatively young (mid-20's), recently started my career, building up some of my own money, and just been nervous to make the jump. But I really feel now is the time to jump and start meeting and talking to people. Really looking to connect with locals about their experiences, get their advice, and hopefully find a mentor that can help me out. Thanks!

Hey Luis! You're in the right place! Have you determined what area of RE investing you're interested in?

Hey Christian! At this stage, I believe the 2-4 unit multifamily properties are most likely most ideal. I'd love to scale upwards to those mini-multifamily properties of 8-12 units, but I think taking some baby steps first will help learn and be better prepared for those larger scale properties.
