Trying to learn how and where to start with rental properties

Hey everyone,

I am in the very early stages of getting into this world of real estate investing. I have had the discussions with my wife about wanting to earn passive income through rental properties and we are on board with the idea. We have no clue where to get started though. Any advice on how to start taking steps into our first rental property would be awesome! Thanks!
