Hi all,

Excited to be here. I actually signed to the forum several months ago but was a silent observer. Now it is time to pull trigger. So I live an work in Bakersfield CA and would like to buy a real estate to rent it out. Initially I was looking in Santa Monica, Long Beach, Huntington Beach areas but now I'm kind of starting to change my mind as I think Bakersfield (due to shortage of houses) maybe not that bad to invest into rental real estate. My question is I would like to network with seasoned investor to see what he/she thinks. My budeget is only 310K and I don't think I can get into great real estate in SM, LB or HB, whereas Bakersfield has got some options. My only concern is how much more real estate in Bakersfield will be rented more than house in SM, LB or HB? Probably not much....Anyways looking forward to hear great advices here...

Thanks
