New Michigan-area house hacker here!

Taurus Colvin
Posted

Hey Gang,

Just joined. I'm a software engineer by day and aspiring house hacker by night. My goal this year is to acquire my first property. Yes, in this challenging real estate environment. My market timing has never been fantastic and, it seems, my move into real estate is no different LOL! Eventually, I'd like build a portfolio of 10 (potentially random number) properties. But it starts with the first. I've already obtained a 5% down conventional pre-approval and am working with a local (Ann Arbor, MI), investor-friendly realtor to find deals. I've retained a team to help me handle tax structuring. Have been fire-hosing the learning over the past few weeks but it's time to act. Wishing myself and all of you good fortune!
