Greetings, BiggerPockets!

My name is Cole, I am coming here as a result of stumbling onto the awesome BP podcast through iTunes. I live in the greater Nashville area (Murfreesboro, TN to be specific), and needed something to listen to during my commute in to work. BP was just the trick.

I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad a couple of years ago and that inspired me to purchase my first home (my actual residence). Being broke, in college with a part time job and still getting a 3.25% interest rate on my conventional mortgage really made me think that I could get into real estate investing. With some hesitation I am here to see if I can learn enough to feel comfortable doing my first deals.

I am primarily interested in single family homes to rent, but am sure that as I educate myself and start to gain experience I will be open to other avenues.

Looking forward to meeting you guys and hearing what you have to say. Thanks to BP for the incredible resource.
