Just getting started and looking for knowledge and mentors

Hey all, I am Gerry.  Just getting into the real estate investment market to generate cash flow for retirement and something that my kids can rely on later in life.   I am looking to build a network of knowledgeable people on this site.  I have a few people around me that already to this locally but I welcome any and all help I can get.  I have already taken many steps to set this up as a business but am looking to purchase my first property in the next 30 days or less.
