New to BP, live in Tampa, wanting to learn!

Hello BP family!

My name is Karina and I will try to keep this as short as possible. I've lurked on here long enough to know essays aren't welcome. :-)

Well, I am a young, soon to be mom (whoa!), who has been wanting to invest since last year. Problem? I don't know where to start, although I have read a few books such as fixer Jay's, Robert K's, and BP's own ultimate beginners guide. It just leads me to ask more and more questions. I feel like I'm confusing myself. I CAN tell you that since I can remember, working 9-5's has been the biggest nightmare I have encountered and my end goal is to get the hell away from it as soon as possible. I want to spend as much time with my son (I found out it's a boy last week! Whoo!) as possible and my dream has been to just travel during off days and be around my family and just have a great home for family to come over to and a decent car. I'm not looking to become Robert K rich, just rich as I see fit. I'm a simple girl. I've looked into wholesaling, but reading on here, it just seems so looked down on. So, I'm stuck. But I am open to any aspect. I just want to flourish. I have a decent chunk of money that I'd like to use when I feel confident enough to use it. I just need guidance, help, whatever. Anything and everything will help. :-)

Thanks everyone.

P.S. I realize it's still long. ::slaps hand::

Karina, welcome to BP Nation. Wholesaling is not looked down upon, when investors do it wrong, that is looked down upon. There is a huge difference so don't get stuck, take action!
