The most important thing you can do right now is bury yourself in education. Read books, watch youtube, listen to podcasts, attend open houses, comb through zillow to learn about your local market.

Successful RE investing depends on you knowing more than the broad market and being able to find market inefficiencies. The "luckiest" RE investors I know are also the most well informed - there is more than just a correlation :)
