Just figuring things out

Hey, I’m new here. Just wanted to introduce myself. I’m a busy mom of 6, looking to invest in the Provo/Orem area. I’m trying to network, further my education, and figure out my game plan. 

I have been interested in real estate since I rented my first apartment and discovered my landlord owned not just the 4-plex I lived but also other units he was making money on. Seemed like a pretty great way to make money. My interest has only increased since, and I have found I have a passion for recreating a space or dreaming up things to build. Fixing and flipping would be so fun.

I really don’t have any money saved for a down payment on real estate or anything just yet, so I’m trying to figure out how to get myself financed and what area I should focus on. I’m leaning toward Fix/Flip and sell. Eventually I would want to get into renting and possibly Airbnb in addition to the fix and flip.

If anyone has any suggestions to help me figure things out, I would love to hear them!
