Ready to switch from thinker to doer

Fabio Selmi
Posted

Hi all,

My name is Fabio and I have just literally committed to becoming a real estate investor.

I have been looking at real estate from afar for a while now, not knowing why I haven't acted sooner.

Yesterday I stumbled upon the Biggest Pocket podcast, bought David Greene's BRRRRR book (and stayed up til VERY late to read as much as I could), and today I decided to invest in a Pro account to further my education and start analyzing properties.

I am currently in Orange County, CA, but moving to Illinois later this year. Not having capital, I need to figure out a way to start building my portfolio. Meanwhile, I want to study to get my real estate license in Illinois.

I will stay open, but I think the long-term strategy of buying and renting out is the one closer to my goal (financial freedom); I think I could probably also learn how to flip when the occasion arises, but I would say the balance would be 80-20.

I have many dreams and plans, but for now I think that is enough for an intro.

I would love to connect with any likeminded individual or professional. I am highly coachable and always looking to help in any way I can. I come from sales as a background, so I am not scared of door-knocking or cold calling.

Let's connect!

- Fabio
