New Learner on the site, goal to get into real estate investing this year

Hi Everyone,

I'm glad to have found this site and am eager to learn more about Real Estate investing. I've just finished reading the Ultimate Beginners Guide and have been listening to all the old podcasts from the beginning, so lots to catch up on. I own my own home that me and my wife live in, but I'm interested in purchasing my first rental property this year and hope to grow more as I gain more experience. Flipping homes also seems like it would be interesting to try as well.

I was searching for in person meetups in the San Francisco Bay Area to meet other investors or even find a mentor to ask all the questions I have, but it seems most have gone virtual. If anyone in the area knows of any groups or clubs to meet others, or have any interest in sharing knowledge, I'd be happy to buy a coffee or lunch to pick your brain.
