Been reading the book “Rental Property Investing” by Brandon Turner after a recommendation from a family friend who has been in real estate for a few years and loves it. My wife and I are just getting started and we we know have so much to learn before we even get near purchasing a property. Joined the website today, posting for the first time. We’d welcome any and all feedback on where to focus first, where to focus next, pitfalls, process, how you stay engaged when your day job takes up a ton of time, etc. Hopefully we get good enough at this we can return the favor someday and help out the next in line.
