To the BiggerPockets community, 

I am excited to finally post on BiggerPockets since the creation of my account last year. As a new member and also a soon-to-be first-time homeowner, my goals are to buy a multi-family property in the Chicagoland area with an FHA loan, house hack it, and use that as my beginning into real estate investment. I have been diligently reading many real estate and wealth-building-oriented books to educate myself on how I can operate this business professionally. I was also blessed with meeting a few very prolific real estate investors in my area who have already mentored me in some ways on how this beast known as real estate lives and breathes. While very daunting for me at first glance - it has given me so much hope and excitement that I can truly build wealth for my family one day, and live a happier and freer life because of it. Throughout this year I will begin posting as much as I can with any updates on my real estate journey with all of you and hopefully make some meaningful connections along the way.
