Beginner RE investor & Aspiring GC

Hello everyone! I’ve been watching BP videos for years now but never created an account.

I’m a young investor in the process of finishing my first flip and currently own one rental property.

I love real estate and I see it as my way to financial freedom.(Though it can be tough at times)

After dealing with some untrustworthy contractors, I’ve decided to learn more about the trait and potentially become one myself.

I have little to no experience doing handing work, soon I will start doing some handyman work with a close friend to learn the basics.

I would love to get to the point where I can do my own fix and flips. As well as be able to do work for others with the same level of integrity that I would want someone to do mines.

To any experience general contractors out there. Do you have any advice on how to begin my journey to becoming a licensed GC?

Thanks in advance

Much love!
