Thanks for having me...

Gerald Larman
Posted

My name is Gerald, and I'm new to the community: thanks for having me.  I had a year pre-2008 originating subprime mortgages, and then entered the car business where I proved my greatest strength was in finance and in desking deals.

I bought a book recently on Amazon called "Invest Like a Bank," by a guy named Beaux Blast.  It seems informative and legitimate, and is the primary reason I entered the forum today:

To get your opinion.

If you've read this book, what did you think of it?  Is brokering mortgage notes a legit path to raising capital within a reasonable period of time?  Have any of you pursued this sort of activity?

I'd love to hear from  you and/or be pointed in the correct direction.  I'd also like to meet and get to know as many of you as possible, especially if you're located in the greater Houston/College Station general Metro area.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
