Hello everyone!!

I'm pretty stoked to have found this site and even more excited about learning as much as I can before I move back to the US and buy my first property.

My name is Mike Ferioli, I am an active duty US Army member stationed in Japan, but will hopefully be living back in the states within a year. Not sure where exactly I'll end up yet so its hard to really focus on a market right now. I'm originally from south of Boston and would really love to eventually buy in that market so that I can more easily live close to family when I leave the military.

My plan is to find a duplex to start and then look for other multi-family properties after that. I hope to find one that we can move into and rent the other unit to cover the mortgage. My goal is to eventually have enough passive cash flow to invest in and manage properties full time

I don't have any actual experience outside of reading as much as I can and listening to a bunch of BP podcasts.

Other than reading about real estate, I love to rock climb, fly helicopters, ski, fish, backpack, ride motorcycles, travel and experience all that the outdoor world has to offer!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys and being part of the community!

Mike
