New Investor in NYC

Hi 

My name is Folly. I live in New York City. I am a new real estate investor, I would like to connect to local Real estate investors. 

Is it possible to invest in NYC real estate market? Please advise

    It is always possible to invest in any market.
    I think some strategies work better in certain markets that may not work in others.

    NYC is a high cost of living state so you may need more capital compared to other areas.

    I lived in NYC for 35 years and I moved out 2.5 years ago.
    When I visit, I feel like the city has changed(for the worse).

    I think its a great market to make your money(high salary) that you can then use to invest in other markets that both have a cash flow and appreciation opportunity.
