Left Job & Not Going back - New(ish) RE Investor / Private Money Lender Columbus, OH

Hello Everyone.  I'm coming back into the Real Estate Investing community after being away for about 15 years.  I live in Columbus, OH, and will start investing in this area but would like to expand outside of Columbus to other areas as needed/desired.

I started investing in real estate the first year after college and found some success right away making condos from doubles.  I bought a nice truck, and timeshare in Vegas and invested in some new projects.  I then failed and lost a lot of my leverage and as the dust settled, I was left with a truck and a Vegas timeshare :-).  I left real estate because I was young, afraid, and did not yet have a "Growth" mindset.

I have always regretted not building out a portfolio as my wife and I have always "loved" looking at homes, providing housing, renovation projects, etc.

So I am energized to be back.  I am leaving a very successful and high-paying career.  Most of the people around me are impressed that I'm willing to take on such a risk but also believe that I'm "nuts" :-).  My son just started his first year at Ohio State, my two other wonderful children will go to college soon.  They are all believers that I will find a way to make everything work.

So that is me.  I'm looking to network and build relationships with others in this community.  I'm looking to build out a team for:

- Coaching / Guidance

- Private money lending (those looking for money, those who are open to private money lending).

- Hard Money / Conventional Lenders who work with investors

- Wholesalers & Property Management

- CPA / Lawyers - who work with investors and are creative

Hope to hear from you.

Best Regards,
Mack Swenson
