Finally ready to invest in myself

Hello BP family, 

Middle aged guy here looking to learn and earn, the old fashioned way: with hard work, knowledge, and great connections. 

I just recently joined the site and have been interested in real estate for some time now. I have no background in real estate, but I'm looking to learn a lot from all of you, work my way up the ladder, and eventually build an empire that can will produce cash flow and support my family long-term. 

I've alread read Rich Dad/Poor Dad and I'm nearly done with How to Invest in Real Estate. Fantastic books with great info. I love learning from others' experience, and I'm here to give back in any way I can. Looking forward to being an active member of this amazing community.
