Hello BP members. I am a former full time RE investor that had to rethink life when the economy shifted. I became a career firefighter and continue to invest. My primary source of leads were pre-foreclosure, which I almost always worked a short sale on, then would wholesale or wholetail. I started my investing career rehabbing then started wholesaling because I would only keep 3 rehab projects going at a time. I then quickly realized how much money I was leaving on the table when I would toss leads. I ended up being able to liquidate my moving company and focus solely on RE investing after my first year. I flipped 12 houses my first year. After my hiatus, I wholesaled 5 properties (probate and fire damaged) in 2012. I did nothing with RE last year because of focussing on being a probationary firefighter. I am looking to jump-start my Investing business this year focusing on probate wholesales. I came across this site and it looked like a great place to find like minded individuals.
