New Member: Searching for In-Person Meet-Ups/Events in Chicago

Hello BP community!

I created my BP account after months of discussing REI with my husband for our future goals. We currently live in Chicago (Buena Park), have owned our condo since 2018, and aim to invest in 2 multi-unit properties in the South Side of Chicago by end of 2025. The timeline allows us to invest in some properties before we relocate back to California to be closer to our families.

I value investing in local communities and am currently focusing on connecting with local professionals in Chicago that can be part of our REI network for our (future) long-term investment properties (GC, PM, CPA, trade professionals, etc.). I prefer in-person events for an opportunity to meet various professionals in one location, and am open to connecting for virtual 1:1s. If anyone has a link for upcoming events/meetups in Chicago, please share them below.
