New Pro-Member Looking for Like Minded People

Hi BP Family!

My name is Brian, and I'm new looking to get into REI. I've been a member of BP since 2022 and just learning as much as I can from listening to the pod-casts, reading books (Rental Property Investments by Brandon Turner, Rich Dad/Poor Dad, Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refi, and Repeat by David Greene...to name a few) and hoping to connect to like minded people to help navigate this journey.
 

About myself:

I'm married with 3 kids, live outside of Chicago, Illinois, and have been in the restaurant business my entire adult life. Both my wife and I are district managers for our restaurant groups we work for and both coach our kids sports on the side. We are always on the run and seems we never slow down!

Our goals:

My wife and I have been interested in REI for several years. Our goal is to purchase our first rental property by July 2024 and looking into the BRRRR method. As we have different goals we want and will achieve, we are focusing on the biggest challenge of them all - THE FIRST ONE! I'm sure everyone can relate.

I'm thrilled that I'm taking each step towards accomplishing the goal and getting closer to making this a reality. I'm happy to connect with anyone and hopefully you all can be part of my journey! In return, I look forward to being on the other side of the table helping out through my success and failures helping the next PB generation.
