New to the Real Estate Investing World...excited for the possibilities!

Katherine Leon
Posted

Hi, I am Katherine. I heard about real estate investment some years ago, but never truly pay attention. Now, my ears started to listen. I am looking to save a bit more for my first down payment while learning about real estate investing. Hopefully, I can make my first purchase in 2 years. Any ideas or suggestions on how to get started?

I am based in the DC, DMV area. Since this is all new to me, I am thinking my first purchase should be around my area, so I am trying to learn about the market around here. I know I should be open minded about it. I guess the more I research, the more I would feel comfortable about investing on a property outside my area.

I join Bigger Pockets after listening to a YouTube video and wow! what a great way to connect with likeminded people that have been doing this for a while.
