Hello all, 

My name is Gavin and I live on Vancouver Island, BC. I currently migrate between our capital, Victoria, and a small coastal town called Tofino. If anyone has ever visited, I would love to hear about what you enjoyed most about these wonderful places! I consider myself lucky to call these areas home. 

I am 25 and have been working the same career since the age of 18, saving and investing my money in the stock market. Real estate investing has been on my mind for some time now, but I must be honest I do find it intimidating. I have no real estate assets.  So, I have found myself here, hoping to learn more and maybe meet a few people along the way. Right now, I am particularly interested in commercial real estate. While I know it may not be wise to go from zero to commercial, I do have a unique opportunity in front of me. If anyone is curious about what that is, I would love to share and hear your thoughts. 

Being the age I am, many of my peers are beginning to get married, have children, and purchase a home. My partner and I are less traditional in this sense and are hungry for FI. We believe, like many others that real estate will play a large role in achieving our goals.
