My name is Ernesto, I am from San Diego California.

My goal is to continue to learn about investing and in the meantime do house hacking with our current home. House hacking can allow me to get additional money and start investing in the future on other units. Currently, we own a home with an attached ADU and getting a feasibility to add a detached ADU. We would be able to rent the attached ADU and the detached ADU to allow us to collect about $3,800 - $4,000 in rent minus the loan for the new detached ADU (estimated $1100).

I got interested in real estate investment from an early age. I originally owned a condo and rented it out but did a shortsale in the 2008 crisis.  Investing can provide additional income and allow our family to take more vacations and have the freedom to go anywhere when our kids go to college.
