I have heard this is a great community of professionals eager to share their RE wisdom so here I am. Hopeful to make some great contacts along the way and share my own experiences for others as I take this journey.

Quote from @Chris Merchant:

It seems you're in the right place, welcome to the BP community.  What kind of RE are you interested in?  What are your long term goals with RE?

Hello Chris and thanks for the reply!

looking at a 10 year plan to increase flip volume as I learn and build a network. Along the way accumulate some income generating multi unit property. Have a few loose RE connections however networking is a critical componente to advance education, resources  and potential partner projects.

On a personal note I haven’t always been the best father through divorce and my son just turned 18. He has expressed interest in learning with me so I am grateful and excited to take this path with him. Ideally he will also learn some valuable business skills to walk through life with and allow us an opportunity to be closer.

I just signed up for BiggerPockets and reading through some material. Any advice is welcomed.
