New Guy Looking to Learn All I Can

Happy to be part of the BP Community. Looking to learn all I can from everyone here. Looking to purchase our 1st property in the next 12 months. We will be living in this house and ideally we would like to generate some revenue through an ADU or similar set up. We have been married for 13 years (no kids) so we are not looking at sharing the house but would be willing to rent out the basement or a separate ADU if possible. I am a veteran so we will be using the VA loan to finance this 1st property. Look forward to interacting with you all. Grateful for this community and all of the resources.
