Hey everyone, I'm from Rockaway Beach, NY. I'm super excited to be here to meet some of you and share thoughts, ideas and learn at the same time!  Here's a bit about me and where I'm at currently:

I'm 34 and an Executive for a pharmaceutical distribution company which I have been with for 9.5 years.  I was introduced to the BP podcast a couple months ago by the President of the company I work for.  Since then I have listened to dozens of episodes, attended several webinars, signed up for BP Pro and just recently ordered two BP books; Real Estate Rookie & Long Distance Real Estate Investing.

My fiancé and I recently moved from a $3500/month rental to a $1000/month house that is owned by her father so that we can save more money.  Being that prices for homes in NYC are so high, this was the closest we could get to house-hacking and I'm super happy we made the change!    With that being said, I have been learning and gathering knowledge on building true wealth & freedom through Real Estate more-so since we moved.  With the super high housing costs in NYC and the pro-tenant environment, it doesn't make sense for me to invest here.

I am looking to connect with anyone that may have started off in the same manner and willing to learn whatever will help me on my journey to financial freedom!

What tips do some of you have for finding which market out of state to invest in?
