Former Project Manager/Engineer Looking to Connect with Investors in the Area

Hi Everybody!

My name is Brad and my fiance (Alyssa), 1 year old golden retriever (Sawyer) and I just relocated to Mount Pleasant SC! Alyssa got a job offer in pharmaceutical sales that she couldn't refuse so we packed our bags and made the move from Cleveland Ohio to South Carolina just last month. This has also allowed me to further my new career path in REI.

Since COVID hit in 2019 I have been a fiend when it comes to reading Real Estate books and listening to podcasts. I have a best friend in Scottsdale who has flipped multiple homes and an older brother who lives down here in Mount Pleasant who has done the same. They both recommended I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad back in 2019 which sure enough... opened the door to an entire new world of thinking when it comes to finances. I had a deal fall through in Cleveland due to the seller being unable to get the home out of probate after several months. We had our contractors and financing all lined up but had to cut ties due to the seller constantly falling through on promises. Shortly after Alyssa accepted her new job and we relocated to which brings us to the hear and now.

My plan in Charleston is to catch on with an independent home builder. I have a degree in Construction Engineering and Management with a work history in project management (heavy civil and commercial). I am currently studying to get my Real Estate license to gain access to the MLS and help boost my resume in the eyes of developers. The goal would be to provide a company with someone who can wear multiple hats but also make connections so that I can further develop my own properties on the side. Having drywall, electrical, mechanical, etc contractors that could be looking for additional work on the weekends are great connections to have. This would allow me to buy and flip the homes I was living in at the same time in addition to any side hustle projects I had.

I am looking for investor friendly realtors, contractors, or creative investors who are looking to buy and flip properties in the Greater Charleston area. I have skills in AutoCAD that can help layout and determine floor plans or help determine what and wont work in regards to room layouts. I am also very familiar with working with cities, acquiring permits, running structural and storm calculations, stamping drawings, material takeoffs and acquisition and dealing with customers directly.

If you fit the description above or feel like we could help each other out then I'd love to get a coffee at some point.

Cheers!
