Hello All,

My name is Justin and I'm new to the site. I've been browsing around looking for a forum to join to discuss real estate investing. I finally settled on Bigger Pockets. I'm really hoping I made the right choice and I think I have as I've already dove into the forums head first.

A little bit about me. As of Dec 2013, I own 5 SFH's in 2 states with my father and brother (we have a company together). I started out by increasing my financial education while we all contributed monthly until we had enough for our first house in 2010. I've read probably 50-75 books on real estate, business, financials, etc over the past 7 years from a wide variety of authors.

One of my biggest challenges is that I've been hard pressed to find others in the same stage as me. I have a full time job and do this on the side until I have enough properties where I can do it full time but that my be a good ways away. Everyone who has written a book has already "made it" and a lot of times it doesn't necessarily relate to what I'm doing. I've been unable to find others like me so much that I started a blog about my journey so that when I did find others, I'd at least have it documented. The blog link is in my signature if you're interested. This isn't a pitch, I promise. It's the only time I'll mention it.

I'm only on 1 real estate forum (this one). I don't have time to do much else so I'd rather invest what time I have in one place. So I'm hoping to get to know a lot of you over time and share experiences. So in the interest of this post not being too long, I'll end it there :).
